Oath Taking of Newly Elected Officials and Turn-Over Ceremonies

The Oath-Taking of the Elected Officials of the Municipality of San Rafael was held on June 28, 2010 at the New Municipal Hall of the town. The program was started by a concelebrated mass led by Rev. Mons. Filemon M. Capiral, Rev. Fr. Mario L. Mendiola, Rev. Fr. Ibarra C. Mercado, Rev. Fr. Norberto A. Gagui, and Rev. Fr. Ver Rhoniel Cristobal. The mass was followed by the short program where the incumbent Local Chief Executive delivered his welcome message to the incoming officials and a plaque of recognition was given to him by the different civic organizations in the municipality.

The oath of office was presided by Municipal Trial Court Judge Elizabeth L. Segismundo-Nicolas.

One of the highlights of the program was the turn over ceremonies of the Mace by the outgoing Vice-Mayor Rino V. Castro to the incoming Vice-Mayor Cipriano D. Violago, Jr. and the turn over of the symbolic key to the town by the outgoing Mayor, Ricardo C. Silverio to the incoming Mayor, Lorna C. Silverio.
